InstaFlow Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information InstaFlow ("we", "us") collects when you use the InstaFlow app and website, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. InstaFlow is operated by an individual developer based in Rajasthan, India.
1. Who can use InstaFlow
InstaFlow is for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
2. Information we collect
Account information:
- Your email address, and the name and profile photo from Google Sign-In (or the email address you register with).
- A user ID that identifies your account.
- Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication. We never see them.
Your answers and settings:
- What you create content about (your niche) and your main goal, chosen during onboarding. We use them to personalise suggestions.
- Your country, language and time zone, taken from your phone's settings (not GPS). We use them for local trends, timing and reminders.
- An Instagram username, only if you type one into your profile.
Content you create:
- Text you type into AI tools (topics, prompts, captions, scripts) and the results the AI gives you.
- Photos you upload to AI tools, for example Studio, Viral Templates, the Thumbnail and Poster makers, and Caption from photo. We send the photo to our server and to Google's Gemini AI to create your result. We do not keep the uploaded photo afterwards.
- Images the AI creates for you. These are saved in your Studio until you delete them or your account.
- Text you choose to hear read aloud (for example in AI Calendar). It is sent to Google Cloud Text-to-Speech to create the audio.
- History you choose to save, such as captions, scripts, ideas and calendars.
Credits and purchases:
- Your credit balance and the history of credits added and used.
- For purchases made through Google Play: the product, order ID, purchase token, price, subscription status (for example trial, active, cancelled or expired), renewal date and refunds. We receive this information from Google Play.
- We never receive your card, UPI or bank details. Google Play handles all payments.
Device and usage information:
- An identifier created by the app and your device model, used to keep your account secure (one active session at a time).
- A push notification token, so we can send you notifications.
- App activity, such as which features you use, screens you open, purchases and errors. We collect this with Google Firebase Analytics, linked to your account ID.
- Crash reports and performance data, collected with Google Firebase Crashlytics.
- Advertising data, if you see ads: the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) collects your device's advertising ID, an approximate location based on your IP address, and how you interact with ads.
Instagram: InstaFlow no longer offers Instagram login or post scheduling. If you connected an Instagram account in an earlier version of the app, we deleted the stored Instagram access tokens, profile data and scheduled posts in October 2026.
3. How we use your information
- To run the app: your account, AI tools, credits, subscriptions, and saving your creations.
- To process AI requests: your prompts and photos are sent to Google Gemini to create your results, and text you choose to hear is sent to Google Cloud Text-to-Speech.
- To manage purchases: verify Google Play purchases, add credits, and handle renewals, cancellations and refunds.
- To personalise suggestions, based on your niche, goal and region.
- To send notifications, such as trial and renewal reminders and tips. You can turn them off in your phone's settings.
- To keep InstaFlow safe: prevent fraud, abuse and account sharing, and enforce our Terms.
- To improve the app, using analytics and crash reports.
- To show ads with Google AdMob. We do not show ads while your subscription or trial is active.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos or prompts to train our own AI models.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that run parts of InstaFlow for us, and only as much as they need:
- Google Firebase: sign-in, database, file storage, analytics, crash reporting, notifications and remote settings.
- Google Gemini API: creates AI text and images. It receives your prompts and uploaded photos. We use the paid Gemini API, under which Google does not use this content to improve or train its models.
- Google Cloud Text-to-Speech: creates audio from text you choose to hear.
- Google Play: payments, subscriptions and purchase checks.
- Google AdMob: shows ads. It receives your advertising ID, approximate location and ad interaction data, and may use them under Google's own policies, including for personalised ads.
- Render: hosts our server, which processes your requests.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our users or InstaFlow, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. If that happens, we will tell you.

5. Ads and your consent
We do not show ads while your subscription or trial is active. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's consent form before any ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Profile > Ad privacy settings. Everyone can reset their advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in their phone's Google settings.
6. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in the United States: our database runs in Google Cloud's North America region (nam5), files are stored in Google Cloud Storage in Iowa (us-central1), and our server runs on Render. This means your information is transferred to and stored outside India. Our providers encrypt your data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
7. How long we keep it
- Your account, creations, credits and history: until you delete them or your account.
- Photos you upload to AI tools: not stored after your request is processed.
- Purchase records: as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws. We also keep a record that links a Google Play purchase to the account that made it, to prevent fraud. Google Play keeps its own records.
- Analytics and crash data: for as long as Google Firebase keeps it under our settings.
- After deletion, deleted files may remain in our storage provider's recovery copy (soft delete) for up to 7 days, and deleted data may remain in our database backups for up to 7 days. After that, they are gone.
8. Deleting your account and data
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in Google Play first, or you will continue to be charged. Credits left in your account are lost when the account is deleted.
9. Your rights and choices
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing instaflow38@gmail.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. You can also turn off notifications in your phone's settings, change your ad consent (Profile > Ad privacy settings), and cancel your subscription in Google Play at any time.
10. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update this page and the "Last updated" date, and we tell you in the app about important changes.
